A successful Town Centre is vital to every business operating in Stevenage and to every person who comes here to shop, work and socialise. Residents and visitors' views of Stevenage are inextricably bound to their view of the Town Centre and, as such, the Town Centre is the “image” of Stevenage that visitors take away. Stevenage residents and workers need and deserve a Town Centre of which they can be proud. Staff recruitment, retention, particularly at senior management level, is easier in a town where residents are proud to live.

The Stevenage Town Centre Management Company is a joint venture between local businesses and Stevenage Borough Council. Our company registered number is 3826152 and our registered address is Wagstaffs Accountants, Richmond House, Walkern Road, Stevenage, Herts SG1 3QP.

The Stevenage Town Centre Management Company's chosen charity for 2009 is Guide Dogs for the Blind. The Guide Dog service is run entirely on voluntary donations and currently supports around 4,500 guide dog partnerships in the UK. Through the Vision Support Services, the charity helps thousands of blind and partially-sighted people in getting to grips with life's practicalities.

Our target is £5,000, which will enable us to sponsor a puppy from birth, through to the end of its vital puppy walking stage, covering the cost of breeding, vaccinations, vets' bills, food and equipment.

Stevenage town centre's Easter events raised £686.34!

The Stevenage Town Centre Management Company raised nearly £8,000 for Building Blocks in 2008 and £4,300 for Sue Ryder Care in 2007. We also support Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee Morning every September.
